Description
Sesambos Golf Course was designed by Hennie J. Du Plessis and construction finished in mid 2007. He held the grand opening of the club in April of 2009 when his life long dream of designing and building his own golf course was realized.
The course has had visitors from all over South Africa as well as many International Golfers. All agree that this course is “A Jewel of the Bushveld on the Banks of the Mighty Limpopo!”.
Situated on 5,400 hectares of a game and agricultural farm this diverse piece of Bushveld is perfectly situated to host a diverse number of wildlife Et bird species.
The golf course is nestled in the undulating natural flood plains right alongside the Limpopo River. Water runs through the majority of the course giving golfers water hazards that come into play on 11 of the 18 holes.
Naturally occurring game are scattered throughout the farm and it is common to see Hippo, Bushbuck, Waterbuck, Et Crocodile during your round all while enjoying the sounds of the numerous bird life most notably listening to the echoes of the African Fish Eagle throughout the course.
From its inception Sesambos Golf Course was designed to preserve the indigenous fauna and flora. The combination of great golf and the unique beauty of the Limpopo River Et its flood plains make Sesambos a truly unique golfing experience.
The Clubhouse facilities are a stone Et thatch design that help maintain the natural beauty of the Bushveld while still providing a world -class experience.

can sit alongside the River enjoying your favorite cocktail on the terrace watching the players come up the 540 meter long par five 18th!
