Description

Aberdeen – The town of Aberdeen (1857) is set against the backdrop of the Camdeboo Mountains. It is a treasure chest of Victorian architecture, and, with many of the houses dated before 1890, it has been declared an Architectural Conservation town.

Many of the houses are richly decorated and intricately designed with domes, gables, turrets and plaster motifs. A few still sport the once fashionable conservatories constructed of wooden and iron fretwork with richly hued coloured glass.

I've been playing Aberdeen since it opened. Matt and Greg were working out of a trailer, trying to make some special. Well, they did and they keep working to improve it every year. For the scratch and plus guys out there, I have to talk about the new tees that aren't on the card. I'm going to talk from my own perspective. At "just" 7300 yards from these tees, I think you could have the tour play this course and it would be a solid test. They are doing a great job recovering from the flooding. Get out here for your next round!5
