Help needed to repair Battery Operated Trike

I recently bought a fairly old Fourstar Electric Golf Ride-On Trike. I was under the impression that everything is working OK and that it only required new batteries. However after replacing the batteries it now seems that the motor and/or controller are kaput.

I am looking for someone who may be able to help with spares and/or repairing of the motor and controller. The motor is 1000w and runs of 6 x 12v x 20ah batteries. The controller is a Yuyin. Assistance in and around Durban will be preferable.

Any help or pointing in the right direction will be greatly appreciated.
